The Lodge When you walk into the Lodge at Xenia you are entering the oldest heritage building on Bowen Island, built in the 1880s. It is now carefully restored and expanded to provide a comfortable space for our guests. |

Kitchen, Dining Room & Deck A fully equipped communal kitchen greets you in the Lodge. Just add food and cook to your heart’s delight. In season, pick fresh produce and herbs from the garden. If you don’t feel like cooking, ask about our catering services or bring your own caterer. A wonderful eating and meeting place. An airy and exquisite setting next to the Xenia garden and the large sunny deck. Pick your favourite seat to look out to the garden or the meadow. Sit on the deck and enjoy the elements, the sounds and the beauty. Watch the hummingbirds feed. Listen to the horses grazing in the adjoining meadow.

The Gathering Yurt Our gathering place is a 30ft yurt with approximately 1000sq ft area. An inviting circular space for workshops, circles, weddings, memorials and whatever your imagination brings to mind.

Studio Cottage Spacious and bright with full size windows, there is a luxurious and open feel to this cottage, Look out to the meadow and maybe you will see deer wandering through, maybe the horses will be out grazing and geese dropping in.

Maple Cottage Walk a little further and open this door… as you enter Maple cottage, enjoy the roominess and the rustic feel along with the wooden beams and the old claw foot tub. Look outside and say hello to Oma, the maple tree that stands outside this cottage with her arms extended outstretched towards the sky.

Garden Cottage Meandering through the garden you come upon a rustic cottage. Climb the steps and push open the glass-framed door to a cedar interior. Enjoy the warmth of the sunshine inside or sit on the porch with a good book and gaze out to the garden. On those days when it rains sit on the porch and watch the raindrops water the garden.

Creekside Cottage As you enter this cottage enjoy the picture window that faces out to the creek and the luscious ferns and trees. Fall asleep and wake up to the meandering burble of the creek.

|
Buddha Yurt As you leave the garden gate and walk the gentle sloping hill, look to the left, there is Buddha sitting on the step waiting for you. Open the door of this yurt and enjoy the decor as the peaceful energy melts into your essence.

Oma Yurt Open the door into another of our yurts and experience yet another flavour. Enjoy the eclectic décor, fun and bright. Be close to the outside as you are inside. If you listen closely you may hear the deer wander through and the owls calling out to you.

Lodge Upstairs Bedrooms Walk the small winding staircase to the upstairs rooms at the lodge and choose one of our unique little bedrooms. Or sit in the middle room with skylight and curl up with a good book.
